FFA Range Plant Identification CDE

The Range Plant Identification CDE held at the South Dakota State FFA Convention each spring is sponsored and organized by the SDSU Range Club.  The club also compiles the list of range plants and characteristics used at spring Range Plant Identification CDEs at the regional and state level, and sells mounts of the plants found on the list to FFA chapters across the state, in addition to other organizations.
