Benefits
of attending SDSU and majoring in Animal Science.
“I graduated
with a double major in Animal Science and Ag. Journalism. I think the greatest
benefit I received from attending SDSU were the real world situations I was
faced with in my classes and as I competed on the Livestock Judging and Live
Animal Evaluation Teams. These experiences
developed many of the skills I use every day dealing with the variety of people
I work with. I also put these skills to practice by being involved in Block and
Bridle, Little International and the Rodeo Club. The teachers in the College of
Agriculture helped me to become a better team player and enhanced my
communication skills which are very important in my current position. My
advisor and the rest of the faculty at SDSU were always supportive and played a
key part in helping me secure my first job out of college."
