Objectives

1. To develop a closer relationship between Animal Science students and faculty.
2. To promote higher scholastic standards.
3. To create more interest in the livestock, meat and wool judging teams.
4. To create more interest in Animal Science as a scholastic major and as a profession.
5. To keep students informed of the new developments and current trends in Animal Science.

Opportunities

1. Interaction and involvement between all new and old members.
2. A monthly business and recreational meeting.
3. Annual steer and heifer show, open to 4-H and FFA members.
4. Involvement in Regional and National Block and Bridle meetings and trips.
5. Intracollegiate meats and livestock judging contests.
6. Participation in Little International activities
7. Barbeque for SDSU Beef Bowl.
8. Float for Hobo Day parade.
9. Spring Awards Banquet.
