Benefits of attending SDSU and majoring in Animal Science.

“The Animal and Range Sciences Department at SDSU provided me with a wonderful undergraduate experience.  The classes were relatively small, and faculty took the time to get to know you personally.  They were interested in you, in what you were doing outside of classes, and were willing to help you with your coursework, if you asked.  They also encouraged you to get involved in activities such as Block and Bridle, Little I staff, and judging teams.  Involvement in those extra-curricular activities provided me with many fun memories, lasting friendships, a lot of leadership experience, and many connections to people throughout the state and region. I also had the opportunity to work in a lab in the department and at one of the livestock units, and found those experiences to be very educational."
