James and May McCarville Memorial Scholarship in Beef Production

James F. and May McCarville were pioneer farmers at Blencoe in northwestern Iowa.  Their daughter and son-in-law Emogene and Gary Thibodeau have established the scholarship fund.  Dr. Thibodeau completed his graduate degree in the Department of Animal and Range Sciences at South Dakota State University and served as a member of the Biology Department faculty before accepting a position as Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs at SDSU.  Dr. Thibodeau then became Chancellor at the University of Wisconsin, River Falls, WI.
