Objective:

 

The objective of the Beef Value Cuts Short Course is to provide retailers, restaurateurs, and other businesses that sell/serve beef products with hands-on learning activities to increase profits through the use of beef value cuts.  Furthermore, participants will learn about general meat science (beef) principles including information on beef safety, yield and quality grades, aging, etc.

When/Where: 

 

Four short courses have been tentatively scheduled for Tuesday afternoons on:

March 18, 2003 at the SDSU Animal Science Complex in Brookings, SD

March 25, 2003 at a location to be determined in Rapid City, SD

April 8, 2003 at a location to be determined in Aberdeen, SD

April 15, 2003 at a location to be determined in Sioux Falls, SD

           

Short courses will begin at 1 p.m. and end at 5 p.m. 

 

Short Course Fee:  $75.00 per person

     

Note:  Participation is limited to 10 individuals per short course
