Animal Welfare Issues Compendium
There are many confusing nuances within the
concepts of animal welfare, animal well-being, animal rights, and related terms. To
address the information requirements of county and state Extension personnel, a number of
authors and co-authors, as well as numerous reviewers were asked to help assemble and
produce 14 discussion papers in this compendium. These authors were chosen for their
expertise in commodity areas, and knowledge of animal welfare issues.
